Direct Deposit Reversals

If you have overpaid an employee or have paid the wrong employee, you can you reach out to your CertiPay Online Support Team to process a direct deposit reversal. 

There are some items to keep in mind: 

- CertiPay legally has 5 business day from the check date to process any reversal transactions from a bank account. 

- Direct deposit reversals are not guaranteed to be successful, especially in cases where there is fraud. 

- In some cases, employees will need to be made aware when reversal transactions are being processed. 

- There may be a one time fee for CertiPay to process the one time transaction

In order for Support to process the reversal request, they will need a completed reversal authorization form. See attached.
