Dear Client,
The National Weather Service predicts that a storm system could potentially threaten the State of Florida. As part of our preparation for the season, we would like to share with you some tips and options that are available from CertiPay if your company is affected by a tropical storm or hurricane.
Being Prepared is the Key. The following are tips that will help you prepare your business if a tropical storm or hurricane strikes your area:
- Plan to process your payroll early. We suggest that if your business is in an area that is likely to feel the impact from a tropical storm or hurricane, which could possibly affect your normal payroll processing day, please utilize the option to process your payroll EARLY. Please note, company bank accounts will not be drafted any earlier and should process like normal.
- You can transmit your payroll anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CertiPay Online's easy online access gives you the ability and freedom to process your payroll from anywhere that the internet is available, even from your home.
- Please keep in mind that delivery carriers such as FedEx or UPS could also be affected by severe weather causing delays for your check deliveries. To avoid any possible shipping delays, CertiPay recommends processing early, moving employees to direct deposit, and/or issuing checks in-house, if possible.
- If you are unable to process your payroll on your own, CertiPay has Emergency Payroll Processing options available to help with processing your payroll. Please see the attached Emergency Payroll Processing form to complete and submit, if needed.
We are always available to assist you with your payroll needs. Please contact your dedicated CertiPay payroll support team if you should have any questions or concerns.
